Azilect
Azilect ist ein Monoaminooxidase-B-Hemmer (MAO-B). Seine Wirkung besteht in der Erhöhung der Level bestimmter chemischer Botenstoffe im Gehirn. Azilect wird zur Behandlung von Symptomen der Parkinsonschen Krankheit (Steifheit, Zittern, Spasmen, Muskelschwäche) eingesetzt. Azilect wird manchmal zusammen mit einem anderen Medikament namens Levodopa eingesetzt.
